Senior Flow Assurance Engineer

What does the job involve?
The Flow Assurance Lead/Engineer in development projects is responsible for all Flow Assurance related issues to ensure optimal and safe design of the relevant field based on Equinor values and requirements.
What will my tasks be?
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
- Work as Flow Assurance Engineer in our oil & gas or carbon capture & storage (CCS) development projects in Norway and internationally.
- Perform flow assurance analysis both dynamic and steady state, to define and optimise the multiphase transportation network including chemical injection system and receiving facilities to mitigate flow assurance risks such as flow instabilities/slugging, hydrates, wax, asphaltene, vibration, leakages, etc.
- Manage and ensure interface with key disciplines, specifically on topics like production chemistry, consistent PVT, integrated modeling of the production system, input to topside and subsea pressure protection, etc.
- Ensure documented quality of Flow Assurance deliverables in accordance with project schedules and budget.

- Master's degree or PhD with good academic record within Fluid Mechanics, Multiphase Flow, Physics or other relevant technical disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years of experience with flow assurance work in development projects.
- Expert competence with use of the flow assurance simulation tools (OLGA, PVTsim).
- Ability to work independently to plan and provide specialist support to address the Flow Assurance related issues in a development project.
- Strong collaboration skills across disciplines and in diverse teams, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business.
- Creative, analytical and flexible skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Norwegian language skills are beneficial.
