Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Team in the Nordics.
The Accounts Payables Nordics department is part of the Global Business Services unit (GBS) which is the group’s provider of shared accounting and reporting services. The unit serves business partners worldwide. As an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Nordics team, you will be at the core of our financial operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of invoices for Norway, Sweden, Italy, and Belgium. Your role will involve handling and processing invoices with precision and timeliness, collaborating with various departments to resolve any discrepancies, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
As Accounts Payable Specialist your main responsibilities will be:
- Processing of incoming invoices for Norway, Sweden and Belgium
- GL account and VAT verification
- Resolution of invoice related discrepancies
- Handling of credit notes and dunning letters
- Resolving issues related to the Accounts payables process
- Month end closing activities, such as vendor account reconciliation
- Dunning of Accounts receivable
- Administration of our invoice processing system
- Supporting users in invoice handling
- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process
About you:
We are seeking someone with one to three years of experience in a similar role, or a fresh graduate with a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. You should be a team player with excellent cooperation and communication skills, fluent in both Norwegian and English.
Your self-motivation drives you to take initiative and tackle challenges head-on. You are flexible, adapting to changing circumstances with ease, and your service-oriented mindset ensures that you always prioritize the needs of others.
- You have at least 1-3 years of working experience from a similar position or a fresh graduates with a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting,
- You are fluent in Norwegian and English both oral and written
- In-depth knowledge of Norwegian and Swedish input VAT is an advantage
- Proficiency in Excel is an advantage
- Experience with SAP is an advantage
