Project Manager, Brownfield projects

The Brownfield department plan and manage maintenance and life extension work onboard our different vessels around the world. Now we need to strengthen our capacity with a new, experienced member in our team. Our office is in Trondheim (Norway) and we need our new colleague to be based in Trondheim and a part of our day-to-day office collaboration.

PROJECT MANAGER (Brownfield projects)

As our new Project Manager you will be a vital part of the department and responsible to coordinate and manage, on behalf of the Asset Managers (AMs), modification and VO work being considered & approved to be conducted on the existing FPSO's and FSO's.

Some of the things you will be doing

• Management of projects within the Operational phase for our FPSO's (and/or FSO)
  
• Covering project definition & establishment, engineering, procurement/contracts, construction and installation phases.
• Ensure that awareness of our HSE, Quality policy and business ethical standards are established and maintained throughout projects
• Assist with the handover to the Operation team ensuring that modifications are fully integrated with existing facilities.
• You will also ensure proper closeout of projects and conduct a structured post investment review when requested.

Does this sound like you?

• You have relevant technical education on bachelor level or higher.
• You have a proven track record of 5-10 years in project management with experience from offshore activities/operations.
• You know why Project Management is an important part of the value we bring to our business.
• You have a structured way of working, analytical approach and focus on solving problems efficiently. Our projects vary both in length and complexity and you must be curious on how to continuously develop "best practice".
• You are self-driven in order to achieve goals, but know the value of a good team effort.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English is demanded, and Norwegian language is preferable.
• Education/Certification within Project Management is a plus (e.g. PMP / PRINCE II)

You must be flexible on travels both onshore and offshore
