Senior Engineer SURF

We seek a SURF System Engineer to join our SURF Integrity Team in Norway and potentially UK.

The Subsea Umbilical Risers and Flowline (SURF) Engineering Services team for Norway is working on expanding their project portfolio in SURF Engineering Services. The team collaborates with SURF experts globally, the business development team, and local clients. The area is growing within the Subsea Service business area, and you are invited to participate in this development.
The role involves developing new customer relationships, managing engineering studies and projects, and incorporating new technology in monitoring and integrity management. The position are exploring synergies between SURF and Subsea Production Systems (SPS) and are part of the cross-functional Engineering Support team for the region.

The position encompasses elements of project management, coordination of technical problem solving, customer relations, and potential business development.

This is a chance to work in the emerging SURF Life of Field market, contributing to sustainable life extension for our client's oil and gas fields.

Job Description

• Grow our SURF services in the Norway/UK Service Center
• Manage our engineering portfolio including reporting, forecasting risks, and overseeing projects monthly
• Collaborate with sales and tender teams to meet our growth targets for SURF integrity business
• Plan and execute work using capabilities from Lysaker, Le Trait, Hyderabad, and other hubs
• Propose improvement on work processes, tools, and customer relationships
• Provide support to customers and internal clients for troubleshooting and advice
• Offer technical support for offshore operations with multidiscipline teams
• Share operational performance feedback with TechnipFMC colleagues

You are meant for this job if:

• Possess a degree in Science or Engineering.
• Experience from SURF (or SPS) System Engineering in projects or services.
• Knowle in flexible pipe system design and Installation
• Skilled in SURF related integrity management, monitoring, inspection, maintenance & repair
• Experience from incident investigations and life extension
• Project management experience is a plus
