I god vintage stand, mangler JIE klistremerke nede til venstre.

"The starling wall plaque is hand painted majolica, partially glazed.

The starling is in Europe the most common and widespread representative of the starling family. To a casual observer, it can be confused with the blackbird, as this is another common yellow-billed dark bird seen openly on lawns and inside communities and towns.

Staffan Johnson, son of Jie, worked at JIE Ceramics. He drew patterns for Jie in his young years and became a permanent employee.

He was also a partner in the company. He was also an ornithologist so there were many bird paintings.

He also knew other animals and was diligently involved in production, he managed to make about 200 new models for Jie."
