Experienced High Voltage Electrical Engineer for Exciting Offshore EPC Project

Job Description

• Design and specify electrical systems solutions and strategies for projects in study, FEED, and detail phases.
• Collaborate closely with project and company representatives across multiple disciplines.
• Lead the electrification scope, including land cables, subsea cables, HV equipment in onshore and offshore substations, and power other offshore platforms and grid connection.
• Responsible for the Main Power Supply Package Specification, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
• Manage the Electrical System Infrastructure (ESI) package from development to execution, including engineering, fabrication, logistics, installation, contract management, and handover to operations.
• Develop electrical philosophies, strategies, topologies, single-line diagrams, load lists, system descriptions, PMS/PDCS systems, and electrical system solutions.
• Oversee electrical system calculations, analyses, and assessments.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• FSE course.
• EX course.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically from Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) projects.
• Solid understanding of electrical system analysis and transmission systems.
• Experience with Offshore electrification projects.
• Proven track record in conceptual and detailed engineering for large-scale projects.
• Expertise in electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNV, and IEC.
• Strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
• Cooperative working attitude with a readiness to engage in a multicultural team environment.
• A natural team player with the ability to work independently.
• Systematic, accurate, and loyal to deadlines and quality requirements.
• Proactive in seeking advice and sharing experiences with colleagues.
