SALT Art & Music is looking for an engaged and experienced Bar Manager to take charge of our bars and help create unique experiences for our guests.

As Bar Manager at SALT Art & Music, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our bars. You will lead a team of skilled bartenders, ensure top-tier service for our guests, and be responsible for product development, finances, and logistics related to the bars. This position requires both hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment and strategic planning for optimizing the bar experience. 

Responsibilities: 

• Daily management and leadership of the bar team 
• Training, scheduling, and staff development 
• Responsibility for purchasing, inventory, and cost control 
• Development of drink menus in line with SALT’s concept 
• Ensuring quality service and guest experiences 
• Compliance with all alcohol regulations and health & safety standards 
• Contributing to events with customized drink experiences 

Qualifications: 

• Experience as a Bar Manager or similar leadership role 
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer 
• Experience with staff management and recruitment 
• Understanding of finances, cost control, and inventory management 
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented 
• Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment 
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and/or English 
• Alcohol service certification is a plus
