Claims Executive / Senior Claims Executive – P&I

We’re Hiring a (Senior) Claims Executive – P&I in Oslo, Norway

Are you an experienced (Senior) P&I Claims Executive with a passion for the maritime industry? Do you thrive in a dynamic, international environment? Hydor is looking for a solution-oriented, commercially minded professional to join our Claims Team in Oslo!

Your Role

As a (Senior) Claims Executive at Hydor, you’ll:

✅ Handle a broad range of P&I claims, including Owners’ P&I, Charterers’ Liability, FD&D, MultiModal, and ancillary covers.

✅ Be part of an experienced, international team, servicing global clients.

✅ Manage your own claim files, liaising with brokers, clients, service providers, and third-party claimants.

✅ Play a key role in training claims handlers and supporting claims reporting.

✅ Travel occasionally as needed.

What We’re Looking For

🔸 5-10 years of experience in Maritime Law and/or P&I Insurance

🔸 LLM in Maritime Law or equivalent

🔸 Fluent in English (fluency in Norwegian is a plus)

🔸 Strong negotiation & communication skills

🔸 Passion for shipping & insurance

🔸 A team player with a high ethical work standard

🔸 Ability to work efficiently under pressure in an international setting
