Project Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented Project Engineer who enjoys technical challenges and collaboration. You are structured, precise, and eager to contribute to high-quality project deliveries. We are seeking someone with an interest in technology, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

In the Seatex division, we develop world-leading products and systems for resilient navigation and situational awareness. At the core of Seatex lies a technology backbone built on GNSS, inertial systems, radar, radio frequency, and laser technologies. These technologies enable us to deliver accurate positioning and navigation systems, beamforming radar and radio communication systems, motion measurement, satellite payloads, and situational awareness solutions for ocean space applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver projects globally, with a strong focus on quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform hardware engineering of integrated systems according to customer specifications.
• Create and maintain documentation packages for sensor systems.
• Prepare production orders.
• Collaborate closely with project teams worldwide.
   

Education and skills

• Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., automation, electronics, instrumentation, or telecommunication). Relevant experience may compensate for a formal degree.
• Practical experience or interest in system installation, configuration, and testing.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Experience or interest in system design and documentation using tools like AutoCAD or similar software.
• Proficiency in English and Norwegian. While Norwegian is the everyday language, our global customer base requires daily communication in English.
