Petroleum Engineer

We are looking for a Petroleum Engineer who will be part of the Global Operation Completions & Wellhead Integrity department. The Petroleum Engineer will assist clients with gas lift and chemical injection designs for their completions. This role will also collaborate with Interwell`s sales team to support business development activities.

Main activities & Responsibilities:

• Maintain, extend and develop customer relationships and preference towards gas lift and chemical injection products
• Develop a deep understanding and provide solutions specific to customer business needs or market trends
• Carry out gas-lift and chemical injection design work
• Communicate Interwell`s information and solutions in respect to gas-lift, chemical injection and petroleum engineering
• Provide support to sales & business development activities

Requirements:

• MSc/BSc degree in relevant discipline (petroleum engineering; chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or alternatively a chemistry/physics-based degree)
• Significant oil and gas industry experience with a preference for this to have been gained within an operator/consultancy/service company environment
• Experienced in the use of PE software (Petroleum Experts IPM Suite, particularly Prosper & Open Server)
• Experienced in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel with VBA
• Actively maintain own competence and continuous development
• Gas-lift design/operating experience is highly advantageous, but not essential, as detailed gas-lift and chemical injection design training will be provided
• Completion engineering experience is preferred, but not a requirement
• Highly computer literate
