Vice President - Indirect Procurement
At Kongsberg Maritime, we are seeking a Vice President to lead our Indirect Procurement team. You will be steering our global indirect sourcing, driving commercial excellence, achieving total cost reduction, and optimizing our Source to Pay System (Jaggaer).
In this role you will collaborate closely with our Business Areas and Divisions, overseeing diverse sourcing categories such as Logistics, Professional Service, Travel, Facilities Management, Engineering Services, and Production Expenses.

What you will be doing
- Responsible for Group-wide Indirect Procurement, with close collaboration with the Business Areas, including teams in the Nordics, Krakow SSC and regional teams globally
- Management of Group-wide (KOG) indirect supplier agreements, category strategies, supplier relationship management and delivery of total cost reduction initiatives to improve business performance
- Indirect Procurement process leadership and ownership of the Indirect Source to Pay system (Jaggaer), the development of efficient and effective digital systems, tools and processes to increase value and business performance
- Procurement Leader across the Group working with stakeholders and key functions including Finance, HR, Facilities, Business Support, Legal, Operations and Product Management
- Supplier due diligence, compliance, human rights, sustainability and ESG requirements licence to operate
- Project management of improvement activities, to ensure on time delivery to a high level of quality and performance and people development including Sourcing the KONGSBERG Way and other key training
We think you should have
- Over 10 years of Procurement experience with strong procurement, sourcing, commercial, negotiations, supplier management and stakeholder management skills
- Strong business/financial acumen, strategic agility, influencing, facilitation and team building skills
- Ideally have industry-relevant experience of Indirect Procurement and related S2P/P2P digital systems
- Proven track record of delivering results with global leadership experience
- Global mindset and understanding of diversity and working with different cultures
- Degree qualification, ideally with further business or technical qualifications, including MCIPS or equivalent
- Fluent in English spoken and written
