Aker Solutions is now looking for an engaged Welding Instructor - AMO for Stord Academy.

Are you a skilled professional with broad experience in welding and want to ensure that our course participants receive top-quality training and follow-up?

What will you be doing?

• Guide, instruct, and motivate students in simulator and practical welding training
• Classroom teaching of candidates of the AMO (Arbeidsmarkedsopplæring) and apprentices as needed
• Document and communicate student progress as required
• Facilitate collaboration and effective communication among all parties involved
• Evaluate site testing when available
• Assist in planning certifications and ordering materials
• Perform general tasks in the Welding Training Facility and Stord Academy

We think you should have:

• Relevant welding tradesman certificate (Fagbrev)
• Broad practical and theoretical knowledge of different welding methods (minimum 136 and 141)
• Experience with teaching and mentoring is an advantage but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Structured, patient, and passionate about professional development
• Fluent in Norwegian and proficient in English, both written and spoken
