One of the products is SDK for ECDIS which are the main, navigational devices on commercial vessels. The SDK components are used mainly to read, display and analyze maritime charts.

Another product is NavStation which is a maritime route planning tool where the user can add and visualize different data layers dependent on the planning purposes. These overlays in NavStation are ranging from weather data to environmental regulations, passage planning and much more enabling compliance, efficiency and decision making both in real-time operations and long-term strategy. The technology stack being used are C++ and Qt framework running cross platform.

As a Senior Software Developer in NAVTOR, you will be joining an international team of highly talented people with a passionate interest in software design.

Job Overview:

• SDK and NavStation development

• Implementation of new features and components

• Participation in scrum and agile development

• Collaboration across teams

• Participate in continuous process redesign to build a high performing culture

Qualifications:

• Relevant education at university level or equivalent

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience using C++ and/or Qt

• Experience with SQL

• Experience with API based systems integration

• Experience with unit-testing

• Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus

• Experience with CI/CD tools is a plus

• Experience with Docker and Linux application development is a plus

• Well traversed in Agile methodologies and DevOps based workflows

• Speak and write English fluently
