Field Service Engineers

We are looking for a Field Service Engineers for our service department in Ulsteinvik.
You will be a part of a very exciting and competent service team with the whole world as a workplace.  

Curious about what you will do? 
You will provide service, maintain, field repair, troubleshoot and upgrade existing Kongsberg Maritime propulsion products, including support commissioning of new project deliveries and technical support and assistance of our customers and colleagues. You will assemble and repair propulsion machinery and equipment, replace parts on propulsion units and rebuild them. Responsible/involved for troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service on designated equipment's. Maintaining daily communication on site with client, where applicable, and customers directly to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction. You will also collaborate with members of the service team, share knowledge and coach them.

Working hours  
4x4 rotation
4 weeks on and 4 weeks off

Desired qualifications  

• Technical college/ University diploma covering Low Voltage Electrical Equipment or related engineering related to the relevant discipline. 

• Experience from relevant maritime activities/work is preferable, and can replace/compensate for formal education.  

• Knowledge about hydraulic and electrical control systems for machinery is an advantage  

• Experience with customer service is a great advantage  

• Good verbal and oral English.  

• You are able to travel as required. 

• Good skill using pc with windows in general.
