As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for one or two motivated Developers with experience in either control systems or web development.

In a control systems role, you will work on embedded systems that cover everything from sensors and networking to dynamic positioning. Your work will be critical in creating reliable, high-performance systems for vessel control.

The web developer role will focus on web applications and tools that will process and visualize live data from the control systems onboard vessels, enabling teams to make informed decisions to improve maritime operations and technologies.

WANTED QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical skills:

Control systems: C++, C#, WPF, Zephyr and Python

Web development: TypeScript, Go and PostgreSQL

• Proficient with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Education in computer science, electrical engineering, cybernetics, control systems, or related fields (relevant experience can compensate for formal education).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and common design patterns.
• Up to date on new technologies and tools for software development.
• Experience with marine application design, industry standards, and type approval processes is advantageous. 

The position is full time and based in MT office in Egersund (Norway) or in Mandeville (Louisiana). Other locations can be evaluated.

Some domestic and international travel may be required.
