Purpose of the position
As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll be a key resource in shaping our discipline activities in Front End and Green Solutions. Your technical expertise and business understanding is important; it's about boosting client relationships through excellent project performance and seamless communication.
Key Responsibility
- Lead, manage, and monitor all activities within your discipline
- Perform tasks related to the processing plant on the environment within studies
- Strategically handle studies to mitigate risks, seize opportunities, and meet deadlines and budgets
- Identify and develop new opportunities with your clients
- Perform modelling and simulation
- Be familiar with PSD/ESD shutdown hierarchy and startup/shutdown philosophy
- Contribute to the development of P&ID, PFD, and UFD
- Participate and facilitate HAZOP/Design Reviews and contribute to closeout actions
- Master’s degree in Process technology, Chemistry, or other relevant engineering education
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in process or process safety engineering in the oil and gas, power sector, chemicals, or other relevant industry
- Demonstrable expertise or mindset in Early Phase / Front End engineering, encompassing cost, schedule, and execution
- Familiar with relevant guidelines and standards
- Experience from project execution models study fases including FEED and MMO and EPCI
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in Norwegian considered an asset
- Positive and enthusiastic even in challenging situations
- Strong problem-solving skills - able to take up complex questions and perform rational assessment and consult when needed
- Highly collaborative personality with integrity
- Able to work independently
- High proficiency in report writing
