As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Senior SAS Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
What will you be doing?
- Participate as SAS engineer in EPCI modification and maintenance contracts
- Responsible for SAS system design and integration
- Participate in fire and gas safety reviews
- System design of process, utility, and electrical systems (interfaces, FS, SCD, and HMI input)
- Design solutions according to client requirements
- Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation; participate in test activities/FAT
- Ensure required vendor and engineering information is communicated to project interfaces
- Prepare and complete engineering documents such as F&G, C&E, SCDs, ESD/PSD Block logic, and work packages
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Proficiency in Norwegian both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree or higher within SAS discipline
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Knowledge of NORSOK standards I-002 and IEC/PAS 63131:2017
- Experience with process control & monitoring systems, fire & gas detection, and shutdown systems (ESD/PSD)
- Valid offshore, EX, and FSE certificates
- Proficiency in translating process requirements into system functionality
- Ability to manage procurement packages and follow up on supplier documentation
