About the Job:
Miele's service team consists of highly competent in-house service technicians across Norway. In addition, we collaborate with several external service partners. As a Field Service Manager, you will lead our own service technicians on domestic products and engage in a collaborative dialogue with our service partners.
The service team for domestic appliances consists of over 20 service technicians divided between fieldand our own service workshop. Two Field Service Managers have a shared responsibility for the full team, each with the responsibility for approx. 10 service technicians. Apart from collaborating with service partners, the role also consists of driving and supporting other service-related tasks and projects.
The position reports to the Service Director, Nordics, and is part of a Nordic Service leadership team. As part of the Nordic leadership team you will collaborate with your Nordic colleagues and contribute in driving synergies in the Nordic Domestic Field Service area.
Responsibilities in the role
- Ensure that Miele Technicians and Service Partners deliver premium experiences to our customers in Norway
- Lead, motivate, and further develop the domestic service team and its people
- Develop the local service operations in accordance with the global and regional strategy
- Joint ownership of the Norway Domestic Service business performance, with responsibility for revenue, budget, results, and achievement of KPIs
- Plan and oversee capacity, time usage, availability, and response time
- Responsible for quality and business goals in the department, as well as with our external service partners
- Stay informed about legislation and industry trends impacting the Miele Service business
- You will support Nordic and regional projects, contributing to the overall success of the Nordic organization
Qualifications:
- Education in a relevant field, however relevant experience can compensate for the educational requirement
- Proven leadership experience from a service or customer-facing function
- Fluency in Norwegian and English (written and oral)
- Strong communication skills
- We particularly seek leaders with similar or transferable experience in operational roles
