Objective:
The Senior Logistics Coordinator plays a key role within the Supply Chain function, specifically within the Traffic and Logistics discipline. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing transport solutions that ensure efficient and cost-effective material flow across projects. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments, external transport providers, and suppliers to manage complex transport needs while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
1. Responsibilities:
Strategic Transport Management:
- Develop and implement transport strategies aligned with project requirements and
- company goals.
- Negotiate and establish agreements with transport providers, including solutions for
- specialized or complex transport operations.
- Ensure all transport processes are cost-efficient, sustainable, and compliant with
- Incoterms, customs, and tax regulations.
Operational Transport Coordination:
- Manage and oversee large-scale and complex transport assignments from inquiry to
- final delivery.
- Provide expertise and guidance on transport planning, Incoterms, customs
- clearance, and tax-related matters.
- Monitor transport performance, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
Quality and Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize transport flows.
- Ensure safety, quality, and documentation compliance for all transport-related
- activities.
- Report deviations and propose improvement measures to the Materials Management
- & Logistics Manager.
Communication and Compliance and Improvement:
- Enhance operational coherence and staff morale across the logistics spectrum
- through effective inter-departmental collaboration.
- Keep detailed records and logs, notably for Non-Conformity Reports (RUHs), driving
- operational improvements based on trend analysis.
Leadership and Strategic Initiatives:
- Actively engage with subcontractors and service providers, ensuring
- delivery.
- Initiate cross-functional projects to enhance warehouse operations
- innovative solutions and technologies to streamline processes.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Procurement, and Project
- Management to align transport processes with operational goals.
- Maintain clear communication with external transport providers and other
- stakeholders.
3. Qualification:
- University degree in logistics, transport, supply chain management, or equivalent
- relevant experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in transport management, freight forwarding, or
- related roles.
- Solid understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and international transport
- standards.
- Experience in negotiating and establishing transport agreements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to
- handle complex challenges.

- Expertise in transport logistics and supply chain management.
- Ability to work independently and lead transport processes from planning to
- execution.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborative mindset to effectively coordinate across functions and stakeholders.
