Objective:
The Transport Coordinator plays a critical role in optimizing logistics workflows, supporting material and equipment movement, and ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. The position focuses on analyzing, planning, and implementing logistics solutions that align with project and organizational needs while maintaining cost-efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Operational Transport Management:
- Develop and implement logistics plans to support material and equipment
- movement.
- Ensure the safe and on-time delivery of goods to meet project and client
- requirements.
- Monitor and optimize transport processes to align with company standards and
- operational goals.
Process and Compliance:
- Analyze and troubleshoot logistics workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including Incoterms, customs, and tax
- requirements.
- Prepare and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to
- maximize efficiency.
Collaboration and reporting:
- Coordinate with project teams, warehouse supervisors, and external transport
- providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide regular updates and reports on logistics performance to the Materials
- Management & Logistics Manager.
- Support cross-functional collaboration to resolve logistical challenges and implement
- solutions.
Technical Expertise and Continuous Improvement:
- Provide technical guidance on logistics systems and tools, including troubleshooting
- and process optimization.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in transport workflows and implement
- recommended changes.
Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or transport management.
- Strong understanding of logistics systems, processes, and tools.
- Proficient in analyzing and improving workflows while managing complex logistical
- tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across
- teams.
