We are looking for a Director of Global Customers and Business Development to lead our global team and contribute to further growth in exciting markets. This position will be responsible for leading the Energy headquarters in Stavanger, Norway.

- develop strategies to drive growth in existing and new strategic markets in collaboration with regional sales directors, marketing, and other internal stakeholders
- support the execution of sales strategies to meet KPIs, including increasing sales volume and securing new customer agreements
- develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic end-users and decision-makers through quality, innovation, and solution-based selling
- manage long sales processes and improve the probability of winning contracts, while providing industry and technology expertise to gain stakeholder support
- create strategies to demonstrate the value of our products in new markets and act as a trusted partner and advisor for technological initiatives in selected markets
- ensure employee engagement and performance recognition by planning and organizing team-building activities
- conduct regular meetings with team members globally, including international travel to factory and sales locations
- implement training programs and standardization of processes, CRM, and ERP tools
- guide and support a global team of business developers and account managers through effective communication and active leadership
- are a values-driven leader with integrity, respect, inclusiveness, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
- hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, preferably with an MBA or relevant business education, and are comfortable working in complex global organizations
- possess strong commercial acumen and experience in driving growth and profitability, along with a proven track record of leading and developing global teams
- have at least 10 years of sales experience in the technology sector and 6 years of leadership experience managing a team
- have a proven track record in managing large capital projects and customer accounts, preferably within the energy sector
- ideally have knowledge of fire protection systems, flame and gas detection, or related products
- are structured, quality-conscious, and strategic, with strong moral judgment for handling confidential information
- are a strong communicator and problem solver, capable of handling complex challenges
- have experience as a leader who is inspiring, efficient, and an excellent team player, fostering collaboration both internally and externally
- are fluent in both English and Norwegian, both written and spoken
- have experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and a structured approach to sales management
