Join Our Team as an IT Security Manager

Are you passionate about IT security and want to make a difference? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Security Manager to strengthen our IT team. This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a new function within the company. At LNS, IT is a central shared function for all the companies in the group.

About the role:

You will play a key role in developing and implementing security strategies, introducing and managing monitoring of networks and systems, as well as handling security incidents in collaboration with the rest of the organization. You will be a support and ensure that we collaborate both internally and externally to ensure that security measures are integrated into all projects. As our IT Security Manager, you will help protect our digital assets, ensure compliance with security standards, and implement robust security measures within IT infrastructure, procedures, and systems. We have a goal of achieving an ISO 27001 certification within a few years.

You will also be an authority on security matters and contribute to raising employee awareness about the importance of good security practices.

This is a broad role where you will have overall responsibility in the area. The role will report to the CIO. This is a new function for us, and we appreciate your contribution in developing and shaping the role.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform security analyses and risk assessments
• Manage and investigate security incidents
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
• Continuous process improvement through the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
• Monitor networks and systems to identify and address security threats

To succeed in this role, curiosity and a willingness to learn are required, with a strong interest in IT security. As the IT Security Manager, you will work independently within your area, but your internal and external interactions will require you to be a good communicator and collaborator.

We prefer that you have several years of practical experience within the field. You need to have good communications skills in both Norwegian and English.

We are looking for someone with:

• A relevant higher education in IT or certification in the field
• At least 3 years of experience in IT security
• Deep knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection
• Experience with security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, IEC 62443, GDPR, etc.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are a strong advantage
• You must be able to achieve at least a lower level of security clearance in Norway
