Supply Chain Manager

On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for Supply Chain Manager

Job Description:

• Implement and ensure compliance to Company Management System policies and procedures relevant to area of responsibility
• Lead the development and implementation of new procedures and checklist where applicable
• Manage, oversee, and supervise/coach the staff within the department
• Responsible for workplace HSE as well as security of warehouse facility and stock
• Handle non-conformities and potential claims within area of responsibility
• Work closely together with other departments in order to improve efficiency, reduce and/or control cost
• Undertake reviews of existing contracts/agreements to assure the value offered is still valid, in addition to implementing continues improvements related to cost, quality and delivery
• Ensure that new suppliers are approved according to qualification process
• Establish frame agreement and critical contracts according to Supply Chain Management Policy
• Ensure proper filing of agreements/contracts related to goods and services in Contract Management at Share Point
• Ensure that Approved Supplier/Vendor List are updated in Share Point
• Ensure that proper controls according to procedures are carried out and documented for all equipment being purchased, received or dispatched, including QC check when required
• Planning/optimize and administer stock/inventory levels in a cost-effective manner
• Ensure all inventory is properly maintained, preserved and safely stored
• Manage and ensure annual counting of inventory
• Ensure the integrity of all import/export documentation
• Organize Companies freight activities in a timely, cost effective manner, and in accordance to regulatory requirements and Company policies
• Responsible for Quality control and Supplier Documentation are carried out according to procedure
• Communicate and check with other parts of the Company for changes affecting purchase and delivery schedules and make necessary adjustments
• Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner

• Bachelor within Supply Chain Management or relevant courses
• Certificate of apprenticeship within logistic and material administration
• Other technical education
• Management experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within Supply Chain Management
• Offshore industry experience
• Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP, Navision)
• Good written and verbal Norwegian & English
• Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Analytical, structured and systematic
• Economic understanding and commercially driven
• Regulatory requirements related to domestic and International shipping requirements
• Contract and tender Negotiation
