We are currently searching for an experienced Product Manager/Project Manager to join us for a one year temporary position at our Stavanger office, Norway.

What you will be doing

We are looking to complement our team with a product manager or project manager capable of driving our digital foundation forward and create personalized solutions which meet customers wherever they are and in whatever challenge they may face. 

You will have the product ownership of the E-commerce and Laerdal.com content platform. While we look for a product-centric approach, we are open to review applications with project management background who feel comfortable to take product ownership in addition to the delivery part of the job. 

Beyond your immediate team, you will work closely with Digital Business group, as well as key stake holders in the sales, marketing, and services departments to ensure alignment towards a common direction. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Define, and continuously refine product vision, overall value proposition, and strategy with the product team. 
• Discover, define, and prioritize specific opportunities and outcomes together with the product team. 
• Work with the product team and the larger organization to deliver the planned outcomes and outputs. 
• Understand and help balance, together with the team, market trends, customer needs, business objectives, design input, and technical factors with relevance to the ongoing and future product development. 

Your Qualifications 

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree and a minimum 3 years of relevant experience in product management, project management, or related fields. The following describes you:

• You have relevant experience as a product manager, product owner, project manager or similar position. 
• You have strong management skills, and a structured problem-solving approach. 
• You are comfortable interfacing with technical as well as design experts every day. 
• You are an excellent communicator, proactive and outspoken to address issues early, and you understand how your candid, yet diplomatic interactions make a difference. You navigate different stakeholder’s needs and approaches effortlessly and adapt as needed. 
• You are a team player, empowering everyone in the team to take on shared responsibility, and providing the necessary space to make difficult trade-off decisions involving design, architecture, and business requirements. 
• Experience with digital products and E-commerce is a plus. 
• Flexibility to travel is a plus.
