Are you our new Line & Base Station Manager at OSL?
In this role, you will be a key part of our Maintenance Repair department (Part-145) and report to the Maintenance Production Manager. You will play a crucial role in leading and developing our maintenance stations across Norway, ensuring efficient and safe maintenance operations for Norwegian's aircraft.
As Line & Base Station Manager, you will have overall responsibility for supervising, coaching, and developing a diverse team of technicians, mechanics, apprentices, and team leaders. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving high performance, productivity, and engagement across the maintenance team.
You will lead through others by fostering a strong leadership culture, ensuring that best practices and strategic goals are effectively implemented at all levels.
Your main objectives will be to implement and optimize department procedures and drive continuous improvements. You will ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, safety procedures, and quality standards while proactively identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost optimization within own area of responsibility.
This role is based at OSL in our Hangar.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- A bachelor's degree in management or a related field (preferred), and/or relevant technical certifications in aviation maintenance or engineering
- Extensive experience in leading large maintenance teams and proven ability to manage and develop leaders within an organization
- Strong expertise in change management and the ability to drive transformation in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- A comprehensive understanding of aviation maintenance practices, regulations, and aircraft systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and decision-making under pressure
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to foster collaboration across departments and stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and safety protocols
- Fluency in written and spoken Norwegian and English
- No criminal record

- Driving a high-performance culture by coaching and developing leaders at various levels
- Ensuring strict adherence to aviation regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols in all maintenance activities
- Ensuring accurate and complete documentation of all maintenance activities
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for optimizing maintenance processes, reducing costs, and enhancing operational efficiency
- Managing the maintenance budget by developing cost-effective strategies
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
