Manager, Installation and Commissioning
On behalf of our client in the oil and energy sector, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager for Installation and Commissioning. This is an exciting opportunity for those who wish to work in a dynamic and international environment.
- This is a 1-year engagement with a strong preference for an immediate start.
- Office location in Kristiansand, with great opportunities for remote work
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning and Start-Up:
- Responsible for the safe and successful pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of Company processing units in the assigned region, both onshore and offshore.
- Collaborate with other regional commissioning managers to ensure global resource and expertise alignment.
- Ensure the successful start-up of WSP processing units, including process optimization and testing.
Vendor and Site Management:
- Manage vendors and Company site services engineers on-site.
- Oversee the installation of units at national and international sites and workshops.
- Control installations according to procedures and checklists.
Service Inspections and Feedback:
- Plan, manage, and execute service inspections of processing units, including troubleshooting and optimization.
- Provide feedback to the project team, product responsible, and service network.
Client Relations and Business Development:
- Prepare tenders for clients for Healthcare Agreements, spare parts, training, and site service work.
- Support project execution teams in preparing for upcoming commissioning activities.
- Promote Company LCS offerings to clients and internally within Company.
- Support the BD Sales organization in responding to client requests (quotes, etc.).
Reporting and Continuous Improvement:
- Report monthly on the status and plans for commissioning activities.
- Present lessons learned and feedback from commissioning activities to other departments.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of HSE and quality within the company.
Skills & Experience Required:
Strategic Skills:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall company strategy and LCS team strategy.
- Utilize business knowledge to strategically map customers and develop plans to meet their needs.
- Technically understand Company's portfolio of products and services to align them with the sales strategy.
Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ):
- Take personal responsibility for HSE and own safety.
- Follow defined rules and procedures to ensure efficient and quality service execution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HSE and quality within the company and office environment.
Methods and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and LCS procedures.
- Execute tasks according to set policies, execution models, and procedures using agreed common tools and systems.
- Integrate and cooperate with other disciplines within the company.
Team Collaboration and Company Promotion:
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve common goals for the LCS team.
- Identify business opportunities and pass them on to relevant colleagues (e.g., spare parts sales, brownfield, training, BD&S).
- Promote the company's product portfolio.
- Support the development of profitability and market share in the region.
- Ensure appropriate reporting to management.
- Coordinate with other discipline teams.
