Process Engineer
We are looking for our next Process Engineer! Do you see yourself as part of a dynamic international business? Due to an increased amount of activities, we are expanding the team, and you might be the Process Engineer we are looking for!
In this role, you will work alongside experienced colleagues to give you the opportunity to grow as a professional and become an integrated part of our team. Initially your focus will be on contributing to our concept and early phase work within our FPSO business. Over time you will also have the opportunity to be involved with studies, tenders, modifications, FEEDs, execution of projects and operations support towards our operated installations.
When you develop into the role, you will have the chance to work broadly across all these business areas or focus on specific ones. We work in an integrated manner within the technical disciplines, and you will be part of an excellent team of professionals. You will have the chance to learn from very experienced team members, and we are eager to learn from you.
At Altera, we specialize in delivering large, technically complex major projects in the offshore energy industry. Once projects are completed, we operate the units with our own offshore personnel. The development and execution of such large-scale projects demand advanced engineering and world-class project management. Providing operational support to our global portfolio of FPSOs requires an experienced, proactive, and competent team of engineers.

Some of the things you will be doing:
- Work together with the early phase team to mature new opportunities.
- You will also have the chance to be involved in providing technical support within the profession across assets for operational support and studies, tenders, modifications, FEEDs and projects.
- This includes being familiar with relevant rules, regulations and standards applicable for the area of responsibility.
- Undertake process/ production technical calculations/simulations for process plants using the discipline software packages.
- Contribute to experience transfer within the company.
- Actively take part in improvement of work to optimize work processes.
- Participate as necessary in technical investigations and audits within area of responsibility
Some of the things we are looking for:
- Technical knowledge within the relevant discipline
- Technical education on bachelor level as minimum
- 0-3 years’ relevant experience within the relevant discipline
- English - fluent written and oral skills
