Azets is a global company offering services and software solutions in business operations, including accounting, payroll, HR, and consulting. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our procurement function and are now looking for a Procurement manager with a strong focus on IT software procurement. 

Based in Oslo, you will collaborate closely with our procurement team in the UK while driving procurement initiatives across the Nordic countries. This is a newly established position with significant responsibility, making it essential that you have extensive experience in procurement and category management. 

Key responsibilities:

• Build strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders in the UK and across the Nordics to understand business needs and ensure they are reflected in strategy development and project execution
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from needs assessment and market research to commercial negotiations and contract execution
• Support IT and other business areas in major and complex projects by providing project management and analytical expertise
• Lead negotiations and draft contracts, working with legal teams when necessary
• Ensure delivery of cost savings and value creation across assigned projects
• Monitor contract renewals, develop strategies, and lead negotiations
• Contribute to the development and implementation of supplier management plans for strategic and critical vendors
• Contribute to development and implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and Carbon Reduction Supply Chain initiatives

Your qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 3–5 years in IT procurement, particularly in software acquisitions
• Strong commercial and analytical skills
• A self-starter who thrives in an independent role and takes initiative
• Proactive and responsible, with the ability to drive projects forward and keep stakeholders informed
• Strong prioritization skills, comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
