As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Structural Engineer 2D/3D with experience in onshore or offshore projects.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?

• Designing and 3D modeling in E3D
• Producing detailed fabrication drawings, including cutting sketches and nesting files
• Conducting site-surveys for project planning
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Collaborating with team members throughout all project phases

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Relevant technical education, BSc preferred
• It is advantageous if you can communicate effectively in both written and spoken Norwegian
• Ability to work independently in all project phases, from study to execution
• Experience in modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea
• Proficiency in E3D, general computer technology, and structural design
• Strong skills in creating fabrication drawings
• Knowledge of governing regulations and standards
• Experience in detail modeling in E3D (basis for fabrication drawings)
