An incredible opportunity awaits you as Instructor. At Kongsberg Maritime AS, we deliver technologies for sustainable oceans, focused on the growing demand for power and energy systems. Our newly formed Energy Training team is working to build high-quality training programs that support both our customers and employees worldwide. In this role, you will be part of a team that covers a wide range of maritime energy products and systems. You will help develop and deliver training - in the classroom, onboard vessels, in factories, or in hands-on workshops. Our work also involves navigating international training directives, collaborating with different cultures, and ensuring our training is relevant and accessible across the globe. 

We are always looking for better ways to share knowledge. This means improving our existing training materials while also exploring new approaches like videos, animations, and interactive learning, both digitally and in the workshop. Responsibilities: 

• Deliver training courses in classrooms, onboard vessels, and at various sites, combining theory with hands-on product experience. 
• Coordinate with customers and sales teams to plan and schedule customer training sessions. 
• Work closely with managers and employees to develop and organize internal training programs. 
• Travel may be required as part of the role. 

Qualifications and experience:

• Experience as an electrician or automation technician. Background in the maritime sector. 
• Background in electricity, automation, or energy systems.
• Higher education in energy, automation, electronics, or a related field. 
• Experience as a teacher in scientific or technical disciplines. 
• Certified Electrical Installatør papers will be valued. 

You are able to:

• have strong communication skills in both English and Norwegian. 
• work independently and take initiative.  
• learn and adapt to a broad range of products.
