About the position
Lead the Life Cycle Information (LCI) & Document Control (DCC) group, managing personnel, ensuring compliance, and optimizing digital tool utilization. Develop your team in line with company strategy, focusing on project deliverables. Reporting to the Head of Engineering Disciplines, you will:
Responsibilities:
- Discipline Development: Lead and mentor the LCI & DCC team (engineers, technologists, controllers, coordinators). Drive innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing. Implement training programs and ensure procedures are fit-for-purpose and compliant.
- Talent Management: Provide leadership, mentorship, and support. Identify, develop, and address talent gaps through recruitment, training, and workforce planning. Proactively develop resource forecasts.
- Project Collaboration: Ensure optimal resource allocation to projects. Bridge the gap between LCI & DCC and project teams. Monitor progress and ensure quality deliverables. Facilitate inter-discipline collaboration and focus on technical stewardship.
- Global Collaboration: Collaborate with Worley's global organization, sharing best practices and contributing to global engineering standards.
- Methods & Tools: Ensure suitable, up-to-date methods and tools are implemented effectively. Develop training programs and collaborate with IT on software updates. Drive innovation in digital document management.
- Budget Responsibility: Establish and manage the department budget, focusing on resource utilization and providing accurate financial forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven skills and experience with LCI.
- Strong understanding 3D drawings, digital transformation, and DCC.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Preferred:
- Experience at Manager level.
- Digital transformation experience.
- In-depth knowledge to IFS and engineering software tools.
