About the Role

As our Sr. Technology Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that protect our European IT infrastructure. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure our systems are secure, resilient, and aligned with global security standards. You will report to the European Director of Information Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of security solutions to mitigate risks and protect against cyber threats.
• Provide expert security architecture reviews for European IT projects.
• Support and enhance our ISO 27001-based Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Center and Application Development teams to strengthen security measures.
• Monitor and support server and workstation security across European branch offices.
• Oversee Azure security management and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Align European technical security policies with global security standards.
• Conduct and contribute to security assessments, audits, and incident response efforts.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure cybersecurity effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in information security, IT security, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cloud security (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, directory services, storage systems, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST security frameworks, and regulated industries.
• Proven ability to work across business lines, influencing security best practices.
• Hands-on experience in Azure security management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or similar (preferred).
• A bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent work experience.
