At ABAX, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are now looking for a passionate and driven People Specialist to join our team for a 1-year parental leave cover. In this hands-on role, you’ll be instrumental in creating outstanding employee experiences, and ensuring every team member feels supported from day one. Some of the things you will be working on:
Contribute to a first-class employee experience – from onboarding new hires to supporting employees with People-related queries.
Be a key player in our day-to-day people operations – handling contracts, ensuring vital training opportunities via ABAX School for new joiners, and helping leaders make great onboarding of new employees.
Optimise our People Platform– helping us make the most of HiBob and other digital tools.
Contribute to exciting projects – from improving onboarding to global engagement initiatives.
This hands-on role allows you to take initiative, experiment, and develop your expertise in a dynamic, international environment.

What we believe you bring (or is excited to learn!):
A relevant BSc or MSc in Organizational Psychology, HR, Administration, Business management, or other relevant field.
A passion for people & HR operations – you want to make things work smoothly for employees and leaders.
A solution-oriented mindset – you enjoy figuring things out, improving processes, and making an impact.
Strong organisational & detail skills – you like keeping things structured, accurate, and efficient.
Interest in digital tools – experience with People Platforms or HRIS systems (like HiBob) is excellent, but a willingness to learn is just as important.
Great communication skills – whether answering a question explaining vacation policies or helping navigate an internal process, you can make things clear and easy to understand.
Some previous HR experience (1–2 years preferred) – but if you are business-savvy, eager to learn, and have a relevant degree, we want to hear from you.

Our hiring process:
1. We do look at your resume when some kind of experience is required but – early in our process we aim to do an objective screening with recruitment tests from our supplier Master
2. First interview with one of our recruitment specialists and the hiring manager – focusing even more on who you are and also – what you know.
3. Second interview with hiring manager and one other stake holder, could be a team member for example – to get to know each other even better. At this stage, we might also have a case exercise – focusing on how you would to the work.
4. Digital reference check through our supplier RefApp
Please note that a background check might need to be conducted in parallel with the reference check stage
