As a Researcher in Skretting Aquaculture Innovation, you will drive innovation in aquaculture feed production combining hands-on expertise with research to design and execute trials, optimize processes, and introduce new ideas across Skretting’s operations. In this role you will ensure the successful integration of scientific advancements into practical feed production, contributing to sustainable growth and fostering innovation within the industry.
What are your key accountabilities?
- Design, plan, and execute R&D studies, including full-scale production trials in collaboration with Operational Companies (OpCos) and pilot plant activities.
- Generate innovative ideas for feed production processes and contribute to their development and evaluation in full scale.
- Facilitate the implementation of research results and innovations in Skretting’s production facilities.
- Support technical teams with hands-on solutions to production challenges.
- Management of collaborative projects with internal and external partners
- Communication of results and findings to our key stakeholders; assist in implementation of innovations.
What we ask:
- PhD, or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Feed Technology, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline), along with applicable experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in feed production or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience in running full-scale production trials and understanding operational constraints in manufacturing plants.
- Preferably with experience in planning, executing, and reporting on R&D projects or innovation activities.
