We are looking to strengthen our team with your expertise and are offering you the opportunity to take on broad technical ownership and accountability within our Mechanical discipline team. You will have the chance to mentor and collaborate with our diverse team of mechanical discipline engineers, and work alongside the discipline leads covering other technical disciplines at Altera
In this role, you will be part of the organisation responsible for ensuring that the necessary technical support is provided across assets for operations, studies, tenders, modifications, and projects. Based on your background and personal interests, you will have the chance to work broadly across all these business areas or focus on specific ones. We work in an integrated manner within the technical disciplines, and you will be part of an excellent team of professionals.
At Altera, we specialize in delivering large, technically complex major projects in the offshore energy industry. Once projects are completed, we operate the units with our own offshore personnel. - Participate in the execution of studies, tenders, modifications, FEEDs, and projects.
- Maintain and develop philosophy documents and specifications.
- Ensure that all activities, for which you are responsible, are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations, contractual requirements, and the Altera Management System Manual, procedures, philosophies, and specifications.
- Define, review, participate in, or lead modifications and project work within your area of responsibility.
- Contribute to experience transfer within the company.
- Actively take part in the improvement of work procedures to optimize work processes.
- Participate in discipline checks on modifications and new revisions of relevant drawings and operations manuals.

- Strong understanding of static mechanical equipment in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Knowledge of codes and standards for mechanical equipment.
- Experience with maintenance networks and engineering software.
