Quality & HSE Manager

The position as Quality & HSE Manager (QHSE) Sea Based in AKVA group will lead and develop quality work and HSE across the Sea Based Nordic business area, with focus on bottom-line results, realize synergies, identify potential risks and establish quality assurance processes accordingly.

We are looking for a candidate who are both problem solver and business savvy. You are a team player and a good communicator, have excellent collaboration skills, motivated by creating results together with your colleagues and are able to build strong relations across the organization and towards. The position reports to COO Sea Based Nordic.

Main Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for leading and improving the quality management and HSE work across the Business Area Sea Based

• Improve and lead the work with quality management and develop related processes in close collaboration with line managers

• Maintain ISO 9001 certification in Sea Based on behalf of the COO

• Follow up QA work and ISO certificate/certification processes in ASA and subsidiaries

• Proactively drive HSE improvement processes

• Organize and lead internal and external audits

• Support managers in the organization with HSE and QA work and lead the work of preparing governing documentation

• Establish and report on KPI’s for QM and HSE

Education and experience:

• Higher relevant education in engineering or similar

• Minimum 5 years of experience with engineering and QHSE

• Knowledge of general engineering standards and best practice

• Management or lead experience, proven records of ability to take lead and set direction

• Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken
