NOV’s Field Engineering department is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our sales team.
If you like to cooperate closely with your colleagues, building relationships with customers, but still work structured and be part of an ambitious team that focus on results, this could be the opportunity for you.
Field Engineering delivers modifications and upgrades to the extensive portfolio of products that has been delivered from NOV Norway.
Your role as Sales Engineer in Field Engineering will be to take ownership of specified customers and handle incoming requests, as well as pro-actively present upgrade opportunities that is considered valuable for our customer. You will work closely together with our technical team to provide solutions in accordance with the customer’s expectations and present the quotes for them.
NOV’s technology is highly advanced, and you will be involved in many aspects of this technology, which makes this an exciting opportunity, as there is always innovation and development on our equipment that you will learn about and be responsible for communicating to our customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and develop relationships with established customer portfolio
- Prepare quotes for your dedicated customers
- Responsible for the sales process, from receiving a request to handover of an eventual PO
- Plan and perform market-related activities
- Develop upgrade products in cooperation with our technical department
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or commercial field along with relevant work experience in the field.
- Large work capacity, is structured and creative.
Experience:
- Experience with NOV drilling control systems and equipment will be emphasized.
- Minimum 5 years of previous sales experience or in a similar role.
Skills, training, or special knowledge:
- Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
- Sales and negotiation skills.
- Team player, thrive for results, integrity, business acumen, and manage your time effectively.
