Join our Customer Logistics Team

As our Customer Logistics Coordinator you will manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and external customers and suppliers. You will work on many different projects simultaneously mostly in drilling operations, cementing and fluids.

You will also be responsible for:

• Following up on accuracy and activities with estimated time schedules ensuring these are visible in the planning system
• Creating a plan for deliveries and booking in Customer logistic system, Kabal
• Communicating to all relevant parties, attending and holding internal meetings to ensure the correct equipment is planned for delivery in accordance with the well plan
• Monitoring and updating the well plan according to progress at the rig site.
• Communicating with personnel at well site to review and get approval for the logistic plan.
• Ensuring goods are packed and shipped in an effective manner across the product lines to limit transportation costs
• Cooperating with the supply bases to ensure the rules of interpretation on shipping standards are the same.
• Collaborating with Fluids bases + Cement Department to ensure safe and accurate deliveries of bulk, tools and chemicals to the rig site.
• Ensuring continuous returns and quick expedites on the bases and make sure the load is transported to Baker Hughes safely.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in a logistics related role in the oilfield services sector
• Demonstrate a track record in scheduling and logistics in a rig contractor, service company or operator
• Have experience in or be familiar with drilling operations, cementing, fluids etc
• Have excellent communication skills in English and preferably Norwegian.
• Be adept at managing multiple lines of enquiry and many differing stakeholders at the same time
• Experience of different product lines or projects involving multiple product lines is preferred
• Be highly organised and able to use logistics systems effectively, preferably KABAL
• Have high energy and enthusiasm.
