We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our team at Kongsberg Maritime. In this role, you'll be part of our dedicated team, working on delivering comprehensive solutions to the maritime industry. Your main responsibilities will include hardware engineering, ordering, in house organization and documentation for department delivery projects. Our projects involve upgrading and replacing KM and other manufacturers' Integrated Automation & Control Systems on vessels worldwide. It's a fast-paced environment with plenty of technical challenges to overcome. We need engineers who are determined and quick problem-solvers, as project timelines are tight.

What you will be doing

• Project engineering for Kongsberg Maritime core products in Seaborne projects
• Ensure hardware delivery in projects
• Make technical solutions together with customers worldwide
• Be a part of international and highly skilled team
• Contribute to a good team spirit in the projects
• Close cooperation with other departments e.g. sales department, product department and local offices globally

We think you should have

• Technical education, certificate of apprenticeship (fagbrev) as electrician or automatician, bachelors degree or equivalent. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
• Practical experience and knowledge of marine equipment and control systems is an advantage
• Familiarity with AutoCad, ProArc, ERP and CRM systems is beneficial, but not required. Training will be provided.
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
