Are you our next Financial Controller?

Talentech is a Nordic HR-tech leader, based in Oslo, backed by the private equity firm Verdane. We are looking for a new team member to join our growth journey. As a Financial Controller you will be in charge of overseeing the finances of two of our key markets abroad, Denmark and the Netherlands. You will work closely with the rest of our finance department in Oslo, in a dynamic and international organization. About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Owning and managing Denmark’s & Netherlands' financial accounting and reporting systems including following up on the local external accountants
• Preparing monthly and quarterly management reporting
• Preparing Cash Flow Forecast & Budgets together with local management
• Providing strategic decision-making support for senior leadership through data analysis, research, and modeling
• Supporting with project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements in collaboration with external accountants
• Supporting auditors at Year End Closing
• Supporting our revenue team with following up on customers and invoicing

Who are you?

You are an analytical numbers wizard with a keen understanding of the link between finance and business. You will work alongside helpful colleagues, so it is important that you communicate well and thrive in team-settings. A part of the work is decision-making (and decision-making support), so you should have good judgement, be able to sell a message, and follow through after a decision. There are large amounts of opportunities with us – so we highly appreciate initiative takers that aims to improve our business.

We believe you have

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of experience in Audit, Accounting and/or Financial Analysis
• A demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of data into actionable information
• A desire to develop and learn new things
• An ability to work and effectively communicate with senior Management
• Knowledge of financial reporting
• A strong demonstrated use of Excel
• Fluency in a Nordic language and English
• Experience with Software as a Service (Saas) as business model and the IT system Younium is a plus
