Clinical Development Lead
Calpro is a Norwegian-based bio-tech company dedicated to research on and development of Calprotectin-based diagnostic tests. Focusing on one specific biomarker, the company has a knowledge base unlike any other; Those who discovered and characterized Calprotectin later went on to create Calpro, and the company is one of the major suppliers of diagnostic tools based around the protein.
Clinical Development Lead
Calpro has ambitious growth plans, and wants to strengthen their clinical activity by adding a Clinical Development Lead to their Norwegian office. The right person will initiate, lead and manage clinical performance studies.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Identify areas of improvement in terms of clinical performance data for Calpro's products
- Establish a long term strategy for clinical data collection using Calpro's products
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant KOLs within the relevant clinical fields
- Drive existing studies according to budget and timelines
- Evaluate incoming study opportunities against the strategy
- Initiate new studies according to the established strategy
- Provide clinical expertise during product development activities
- Keep an eye out for upcoming trends within relevant fields
Qualifications:
- Degree in medicine, biological sciences or related discipline. A nursing or doctor of medicine degree is a plus.
- 2 to 5 years' experience managing clinical study projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to establish and maintain long term relationships with the clinical research community
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry, preferably with ISO 13485 and/or IVDR or similar
- Experience in establishing clinical study protocols
- Fluent in English
- Fluent or conversational Norwegian is a plus.
- A structured mindset and approach.
Location / Reporting:
The position is based at Calpros offices at Lysaker and the position reports directly to VP R&D and QA.
