We are seeking a motivated Service and Development engineer with a strong background in innovation and loves to invent and maintain systems for underwater operations.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate successful management of projects with varying degrees of complexity, have delivered innovative solutions within industry, and willingly to undertake responsibility and leadership in our deliveries.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Service & Development Engineer who will be a crucial asset in driving our company and technology forward. This is a hands-on role that combines mechanical and electrical engineering, automation, project execution, and field service. You will take ownership of product development, testing, and deployment, ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
This role requires an innovative mindset, a passion for building systems, and the ability to take initiative. You will work closely with company leadership, lead projects, and help shape the future of our technology and business.
The Role and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership in the design, execution and delivery of new project builds, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards
- Drive our ongoing journey of innovation and improvement, setting the standard for tomorrow’s technology.
- Oversee assembly, testing and validation of our ‘Hull’ cleaning systems
- Responsible for high-quality standards in design production, and field deployment
- Troubleshoot and refine systems to optimize efficiency and durability
- Travel to our worldwide sites for system upgrades, maintenance, and support
- Provide hands-on technical service and experience with our team, ensuring optimal performance
- Work closely with the operational team to gather feedback and improve future designs
- Take a leading role in product development and company growth
- Organize and assign tasks within the team to ensure smooth project execution
- Contribute to shaping the company's technical direction and long-term strategy

Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in relevant mechanical/electrical engineering, automation, or robotics. Bachelor- or master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong technical background in subsea, marine technology, ROVs, or similar fields is a strong advantage.
- Experience in hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, and field service.
- Knowledge of automation, hydraulics, and software control systems.
- Strong ability to work independently while also collaborating with a small team.
- Willingness to travel internationally for project execution and support.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to different target groups
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
