If you enjoy managing digital implementation projects, and being in direct contact with internal stakeholders, we have an exciting opportunity for you: As a CRM Application Manager & Developer at VENI Energy Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our digital product development. With a background in full-stack software engineering within the area of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, you will be responsible for defining and implementing our CRM system strategy across the Group. Thanks to your background, you will also get the chance to support other digital product development initiatives hands-on, depending on available capacity and need. You will be an integral part of a team of professionals, and work jointly with internal and external developers. 

The position reports to the Head of Solution Design and Engineering. This new position will have a tentative start after the summer in August 2025.

Your position

Architectural Design & Planning:

• Understand business drivers and design CRM solutions to achieve targeted outcomes
• Drive our CRM system strategy cross-Group and evaluation of technical solutions
• Ensure consistent use of the systems across departments, companies, and countries 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and technical constraints
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution architectures
• Act as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ensure that any changes are aligned with reporting and analysis requirements
• Ensure responsiveness and cross-platform optimization of applications, focus on CRM

Team Coordination & Implementation Management:

• Develop and manage a well-functioning CRM landscape that is fast, reliable and scalable 
• Lead technical aspects in implementation, and support developers hands-on if needed
• Create and maintain implementation plans, timelines and product backlogs 
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade CRM software, pot. in collaboration with 3rd parties
• Contribute to other digital development initiatives on-demand
• Write, review and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code where needed
• Create and/or review technical documentation
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to develop solutions supporting strategic goals
• Ensure the development team(s) follows best practices, defined standards & meets deadlines 
• Support business users in system configuration 
• Stay updated on CRM trends

Your profile

Experience:

• Relevant education within IT or the interface between "IT and business." This can be in computer science, software engineering, data science, business technology
• 5-10 years experience of delivering CRM solutions as developer and/or application manager; understanding both user perspectives and technical aspects
• Analytical problem solver; structured; strong conceptual thinker 
• Excellent communication skills: English and Scandinavian languages based on collaboration with both Nordic and English-speaking environments internally and externally
• Sense of urgency and high drive & work capacity; collaboration oriented
• Self-going and curious; proactively seeking information and skilling from int./ext. resources 
• Hands-on experience from SuperOffice, HansenCX or Salesforce is a strong plus
• Experience from the energy business is a plus
• Personality in line with the Group's core values: customer focus, commitment and reliability

Technical skills:

• Knowledge of various backend development languages/technologies like .Net, C# and Python
• Good understanding of various database technologies like Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, Oracle and various Microsoft Azure options
• Skilled in various frontend development languages/technologies like JavaScript, HTML, React
• Knowledge of key aspects in tech architecture like integration, network & security
• Understanding of general data modeling techniques and concepts (e.g., relational database design and normalization)
