Software/Automation Engineer

We are looking for you that would like to influence our customer operation. You will get the opportunity to closely interact with our customers in Lifecycle & Performance projects. The department delivers upgrades, retrofits and conversion solutions to existing vessels and installations within the Merchant segment.

We are seeking you that can look for opportunities in our product portfolio and do your best to ensure we deliver world class on every occasion. We are using Kongsberg Maritime developed configurations tools to configure SW and HMI. If you are a team player who gets motivated by technical challenges and can contribute to improvements, you might be the one we are looking for.

Key accountabilities

• Creative, make solutions together with customer
• Software engineering and production 
• Ensure the work is executed according to plan, procedure, checklist and quality standards
• Be a part of international and highly skilled team
• Contribute to a good team spirit in the projects
• Close cooperation with other departments e.g. Project Management, HW engineering, sales department, product department and local offices globally

Qualifications and experience

• Technical or maritime education, automation experience is preferred
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian
