VP Projects

Join Neuver Maritime as VP Projects and take a key leadership role in driving our mission to ensure safe and efficient maneuvering at sea. In this role, you will lead and develop our project organization, ensuring the successful execution of projects while fostering a high-performance culture. Your expertise in project management and leadership will help us optimize project delivery, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive innovation across our operations.

As VP Projects, you will:

• Lead and develop the project department, managing and mentoring a team of project managers.
• Ensure efficient execution of all projects, from contract signing to warranty completion, aligning with company goals and financial targets.
• Establish and improve project governance, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Take overall responsibility for resource planning and allocation, ensuring the right capabilities are in place to meet project demands.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across our global organization to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Strengthen customer relationships by ensuring outstanding project delivery and post-delivery support.
• Identify and implement improvements in cash flow, risk management, and project financial performance.
• Provide strategic insights and reports on project status, risks, and performance to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A financial or technical background, with solid experience in project management.
• Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
• Experience with project governance, portfolio management, and process improvements.
• Technical understanding of rudder and steering gear systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Baan, is beneficial.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus.
