About the position
As a Planning Manager at Norrøna, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company meets its financial and operational goals. You will lead item and product costing, planning, forecasting, order placement, and master data quality, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers and manufacturers to optimize operations and inventory. Your ability to coordinate product development, drive supplier negotiations, and ensure margin targets are met will be key to maintaining our high standards of quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
You will be responsible for leading Critical Path meetings, developing advanced IT tools for enhanced operational transparency, and coaching team members to grow professionally within a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor or master’s degree
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with a proven record within the field
- Proficiency in data management and forecasting tools
- Knowledge of PLM systems
- Experience in the outdoor industry or technical product solutions is a plus
- Fluency in English is a requirement
To succeed in this role you have strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships. Ability to guide your team to grow professionally, to communicate effectively and build relationships across the organisation. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and are passionate about delivering the best solutions.
