About the role

In this role, you will develop firmware for our embedded systems, from low-level driver development to architectural design and optimization. You will work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure scalable and efficient solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Develop firmware in C (bonus: C++) for embedded systems.
• Use Python for automation, testing, and scripting.
• Design and implement firmware architectures that are scalable, modular, and maintainable.
• Work with RTOS (e.g., Zephyr) for real-time applications.
• Integrate and develop drivers for sensors and microcontrollers (ST/Nordic Semi).
• Implement Bluetooth Low Energy solutions.
• Work with secure firmware updates (OTA), bootloaders, and power management.
• Debug and troubleshoot using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and GDB.
• Optimize firmware for performance, memory footprint, and power efficiency.
• Collaborate with hardware and software developers to ensure end-to-end solutions.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics, or a related field.
• Has 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development, including at least 1 year of architectural design.
• Enjoys problem-solving and can understand how firmware changes impact the entire system, including cloud integration.
• Has experience with Git, Linux command-line, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Communicates effectively and enjoys working in cross-functional teams.
• Is curious and keeps up to date with trends in embedded systems.
