We are looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist
Job Description
- Responsible for the Company’s procurement activities related to establishing and managing agreements.
- Holds the mandate to legally commit the Company to suppliers.
- Manage and follow up on contracts and frame agreements, including handling variation orders, amendments, option assessments, and negotiations.
- Contribute to ensuring agreement understanding and compliance, including training of contract users.
- Safeguard correct use of contracts.
- Collaborate with internal partners/customers and suppliers.
- Ensure effective stakeholder management.
- Initiate and implement improvements in procurement and contract management processes.
- Lead enquiry processes, including strategy development, enquiry handling, evaluation, and negotiation.
- Implement and operationalize new agreements, such as framework agreements, project-specific contracts, and call-offs.
- Shape the future global contract portfolio through segment strategies developed with the business line and suppliers.
- Identify business cases and drive improvements in contract relationships to maximize value for the Company.
- Ensure contract compliance and identify and manage risks, including SSU, commercial, financial, and local requirements.
- Manage stakeholder relationships in relevant business lines together with Company Representative (CR) and Contract Owner (CO).
- Contribute to the correct and optimal use of agreements in collaboration with CR and the business line.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor/Master's degree in supply chain management, finance, economics, or law.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within contracting work.
- Good communication skills (written and oral) in English and/or Norwegian.
- Performance-driven, with a strong interest in commercial aspects and being cost-conscious.
- Engaged, proactive, and curious, with a high level of professional and personal integrity.

Duration: 30.04.2025-28.05.2026 (Option period 2 x 6 months)
