Business Controller – Shape the Future of Financial Strategy in a Dynamic SaaS Environment
We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Business Controller to take ownership of the company’s cost structure and key business drivers, ensuring the accuracy of our financial data while playing a critical role in shaping strategic decisions. If you have a strong background in Finance or Economics, with hands-on experience in the SaaS industry, this is your chance to make a real impact in a growing company where your expertise will directly shape our future.

Some of the things you will be working on:
- Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and report on monthly operating costs, analysing variances against budgets and forecasts.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in creating and maintaining budgets, with regular forecast updates.
- Cost Efficiency: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing recommendations for improved efficiency.
- SaaS Financial Management: Managing key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, CAC, retention costs) to optimize financial performance.
- Management Support: Delivering clear, actionable financial insights to support strategic decisions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements.
We believe you bring:
- Educational Background: Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- Cost Management: Familiarity with OPEX and labour cost management is a plus.
- Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in financial systems and Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central) is an advantage.
- Communication: Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in SaaS companies is preferred.
