Our Digital Product Unit is responsible for the digital services at TOMRA Collection, that make reverse vending systems around the world operate in an efficient way and encourage container recycling for consumers, retailers and partners.
We are growing in multiple markets and need a Technical Product Manager that is able to ensure the smooth operations of our digital services for existing and new customers and other users.
As a Technical Product Manager, you will oversee the technical aspects of our products and services, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in product development and provide support to technical personnel across our global teams. Additionally, you will act as a vital connection between TOMRA’s markets, international subsidiaries, and the PU Digital solution and engineering teams.
The role requires active and close cooperation with the markets to ensure a correct understanding of products, business, and markets. Some international travel is to be expected.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility and ownership of the technical performance of our digital portfolio
Troubleshooting technical issues and support engineering team with providing timely solutions.
Managing and resolving incidents while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Actively participate in development projects from start to product launch
Lead the support and training of TOMRA’s subsidiaries, ensuring they are equipped to operate and support our products effectively and efficiently
Develop and maintain a network of contacts between TOMRA’s subsidiaries and product experts
Collaborate closely with solution and engineering teams to ensure the development of solutions that align with both market needs and business goals.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
Technical problem solver, solution-oriented and curious about how things work
Relevant 3-years education , or compensating relevant experience.
Experience with mobile and web-apps, cloud software, networking, APIs, and IOT will be an advantage
Experience with software troubleshooting (Hardware is a plus, but not required)
Expertise and great interest in sustainable system engineering solutions
Experience with and market / customer understanding
Relevant experience from similar technical positions or environments
Personal qualities:
Structured and good analytical skills
Be a team player, while also being self-driven and able to make independent decisions when necessary
Comfortable working towards KPIs
Great written and verbal communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus, but not required)
Comfortable with some travel for work and possibly interested in a short stay abroad
